WORKFLOW ADMINISTRATOR

Part-time (25 hours)

Salary £21700 to £23600 (pro rata) dependent on experience.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Workflow Administrator

You will have a key role in our busy, multi-site general practice, working closely with clinical and administrative teams to staff to ensure that accurate electronic filing and coding of patient letters and clinical correspondence. You will also be responsible for registering new patients, practice mail and other general administration tasks. Please see fuller description below:

· Ensuring accurate coding is inputted to patient’s notes from various third parties.

· Assisting with summarising of new patient notes in line with practice protocol.

· Ensuring DOCMAN and/or results are actioned timeously and escalated to the appropriate person if required.

· Ensuring all patients’ details are accurate in DOCMAN.

· Receiving Labs and directing these to correct Clinicians.

· Assisting with the workload of other non-clinical teams, as and when required

· Effectively managing own time and workload.

· Ensuring security of data at all times in accordance with GDPR.

Person specification:

Experience Essential:

• Highly developed IT skills and ability to work between different IT systems

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience in working in safety critical environments

Desirable:

• Experience in the NHS or GP Practices

• Previous SCIMP coding experience

• Experience using Docman
