Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Location: HR Service Centre, Westholme, Woodend Hospital Contract: Permanent. Band: Band 5. 

The NHS Grampian Payroll team are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer or an individual who wishes to pursue a Payroll career as a Trainee Payroll Officer.

In addition to a competitive salary, flexible working, pension scheme and benefits package we offer training for a professional qualification to equip you for your future in NHS Payroll.  This is a demanding position, where high standards of accuracy, working to strict deadlines and excellent customer care are expected.

All applicants should possess a minimum of 5 standard grades, which will include English and Maths, and have good communication skills and be a positive team player.  Applicants for the experienced Payroll Officer role must have 2 years’ experience, ideally in an NHS organisation, but should be able to undertake end to end processing of a high volume payroll. Applicants for the Trainee Payroll Officer role will receive a comprehensive 3 year training programme, including a professional qualification.
