Job Advert

We have an exciting opportunity within Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership for an Integrated Mental Health Team Manager.

Mental Health & Learning Disability (MHLD) Services in Forth Valley are a welcoming and forward-thinking place to work, and we place a real emphasis on staff wellbeing at all levels of the organisation. The postholder will have the opportunity to be involved in service development and delivery across MHLD, and will benefit from well-established professional leadership structures.

The postholder will be responsible for the overall operational management of the Integrated Community Mental Health teams in Stirling and Clackmannanshire, and will work closely with the MHO Team Managers in these areas to ensure the delivery of integrated services. A good understanding of Health & Social Care Integration is therefore one of the key attributes required for the role. Other important areas of knowledge and experience include the Mental Health Act and Adult Support & Protection processes.

We are looking for a registered Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health Professional with significant post registration experience, which must include experience in an acute or community mental health setting. Experience in the delivery of both clinical supervision and operational management are also essential, as are well developed communication and leadership skills.

This post provides a great opportunity for someone with enthusiasm and clinical expertise to influence the development of integrated mental health services in Clackmannanshire & Stirling, and to work as part of a friendly and supportive team where multidisciplinary working and interprofessional respect are held as core values.

For informal enquires please contact Dr Jennifer Borthwick, Head of Clinical Services (MHLD), on 01786-454631 or at jennifer.borthwick@nhs.scot

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.  More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
