Contract Type:
Fixed Term - 1 year / Full time - 37.5 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Dermatology ward, based at University Hospital Monklands.
Job Role:
The successful candidate will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes, ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures, supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
The post holder must have the following:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
