We are seeking to recruit a pharmacist to become an integral member of our Mental Health Pharmacy Team based at Murray Royal Hospital, Perth.
Regardless of your previous mental health experience, our forward thinking and close working department will be on hand to provide the training and support required, to allow the post holders to become confident and competent members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities for personal development, allowing them to prepare for future leadership roles and career progression. These will include providing input into the development of our pharmacy service across a range of sub-specialities both on site and within the community mental health teams, and assisting in the implementation of the Scottish Government’s Mental Health Strategy.
There is a requirement to contribute to the on-call, weekend and public holiday rotas as per service requirements.

Candidates must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
*Applicants who have completed their Foundation Training, or training/experience of an equivalent level will be considered for the Band 7 positions. Band 7 post holders should be willing to work towards a post-graduate qualification in a relevant field and an independent prescribing qualification.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours over 7 days. Our service currently operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
