The role of Deputy Manager is to work with the Manager to include the efficient and effective day to day running of the home, developing exceptional personalised service for every resident and their loved ones. The management of staff to develop their range of skills to provide a high quality of person centred care and to develop positive working relations.


A minimum of SVQ 3 in social care or equivalent (minimum required for SSSC) registration – or the willingness to undertake SVQ 3 with support.


It is desirable that you have a supervisory or management qualification containing supervision or management theory and practice suitable for a supervisor of a care service with a minimum of 15 credits  or above SCQF Level( required for the SSSC)- or willingness to undertake this with support. ​​​​​​​
