You will be required to work well under varying degrees of pressure and be able to lead the team through, at times difficult challenges synonymous with a busy fast paced medical ward environment.
You are required to have excellent communication skills and be adaptable to changing situations and communicate accordingly. The post holder is required to have a genuine interest and commitment to enhancing patient safety through audit and education for staff, taking overall responsibility for safe effective patient flow within the ward area and having a recognition of the external pressure with safe patient flow within the hospital as a whole.
You will be committed to lifelong learning as well as developing and delivering a high standard of individualised care to patients in an acute hospital setting.
You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe and respectful way. You should also possess excellent communication and time management skills and be committed to providing a high standard of care in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
