We are excited to be recruiting to a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Team in NHS Forth Valley.
We would welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists who are enthusiastic and committed to improving services and supporting staff wellbeing and who thrive on collaborating with others to deliver the very best care to children, young people and their families.
The successful candidate will:
- work within multidisciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies and the local policies within NHS Forth Valley
- demonstrate competence and innovation in the diagnosis and management of Children and Young People with neurodevelopmental disorders
- have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships and facilitate behaviour change
- have an exceptional ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, young people, their families and health and partner agencies
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and will be mobile across the geographic area of Forth Valley.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk
