A vacancy has arisen for a Maintenance Assistant within the Estates Department of NHS Highland.  The successful applicant will be required to support the varied trade teams and carry out basic maintenance and repair of services, equipment & building fabric within Raigmore Hospital and across the NHS Highland area. A current driving licence is essential.

 

Applicants should have appropriate building maintenance experience preferably within a health care environment however, relevant experience in other industries is also considered advantageous.

 

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, without supervision, often on remote sites.  

A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary in order to provide the level of service required. Occasional overtime working will also be required to be undertaken as and when requested by Management.

Participation in a winter gritting on call rota at Raigmore is also required for this post.
