The Post:
In line with Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates guidance, National Services Division (NSD) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lead Clinician for the Haematology and Transfusion Scotland (HATS).
This is a key strategic role in promoting and driving forward the development of an effective, integrated, multidisciplinary service for haematology and transfusion across Scotland. In this sessional appointment the postholder will work closely with clinical and other stakeholders and NSD colleagues.
The Candidate:
Applicants will be leaders in their clinical field with experience in the provision and development of services. A proven record in leading change, ability to work across traditional organisational, geographical and professional boundaries and a demonstrable understanding of the ethos of managed networks are essential.
Candidates must have one of the following current NMC/GMC/GDC/HCPC registration at the time of applying.
Location and Working Pattern:
• Location : Dependent on location of main employment
• Hours Per Week: Up to 1PA
Applicants must have the agreement of their employer to be released for a secondment for 1 PA or capacity to take on sessions as a fixed term contract. The employing NHS Board will be recompensed for the agreed sessional commitment.
Currently hybrid working.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
