The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Care Directorate, based at University Hospital Monklands.
This is a fantastic opportunity to really harness skills in Emergency Care and we are delighted to now invite suitably skilled and enthusiastic applications for this post.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision. The post holder may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.

What we'll need you to bring
Be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration / SVQIII in Operating Department Practice/Diploma in Operating Department Practice
It would be great if you also have
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
