Would you like to lead a team of Allied Health Professionals who are committed to developing new and innovative ways of working, providing excellent care and staff support in an environment which encourages personal and professional development? If so, this could be the post for you.

We are looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Allied Health Professional to shape and mould this exciting post as the Allied Health Professions Lead in Acute Services. You will be responsible for the professional leadership of all AHPs providing care and support within the Acute & Diagnostic Directorate to deliver a modern and forward thinking service. This is a part time post (0.5 WTE). 

The post holder will work with other senior AHP leaders across all four directorates in NHS Dumfries & Galloway, enabling collaborative working with senior colleagues to focus on best outcomes for the people and families we support.  

Ongoing support and development is available within our supportive teams.

This post is based in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in Dumfries. Dumfries and Galloway is situated in the beautiful South West of Scotland with spectacular countryside, wide ranging leisure facilities, excellent schools and affordable housing. There are easy links to all the major cities in Scotland, North England and Northern Ireland.
