We are looking for a forward thinking and collaborative leader to join the Angus HSCP leadership team.  The Allied Health Professions Lead post provides professional leadership to all Allied Health Profession staff within the Partnership.  The post holder will also hold operational responsibility for the delivery of Tayside adult acquired Speech and Language Therapy Service, which is hosted within Angus HSCP.

The post-holder is accountable for professional leadership and governance of all Allied Health Professions (AHP) staff working within the Health and Social Care Partnership combining multiagency professional leadership with strategic service planning, governance, workforce planning and development, integration and change management activities as part of an integrated whole system approach.

The post-holder works with all stakeholders and is a member of the Health and Social Care Partnership leadership and management team with a focus on the Allied Health Professions.

This post is an essential part of the clinical leadership support to Angus HSCP alongside professional leads for Nursing, Medical and Pharmacy.  The post holder is the main link into NHS Tayside AHP Directorate and is the HSCP Strategic Lead for falls.

The post holder will also undertake some portfolio work on behalf of Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, currently this includes being the Lead for Health and Safety and Digital.
