The Baird and ANCHOR Project is looking for a dynamic person to join the team in the role of Project Support Officer for a fixed term of 18 months. This project will see the construction of two new facilities on the Foresterhill Health Campus supporting a range of priority clinical services. The buildings are being delivered by NHS Grampian in partnership with GRAHAM Construction and both will be in place by 2024.
The postholder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of these new facilities.
Duties will include:
- Provision of day to day management support on specific capital construction works and related projects within NHS Grampian.
- Support the commercial and technical arrangements undertaken by NHS Grampian as client for the Baird and ANCHOR Project.
- Providing support to internal and external stakeholders on commercial, technical design and construction elements and ensuring stakeholder actions are followed through to assist with compliant project delivery.
- Ensuring that reports are prepared timeously and that project related information held centrally is up to date and available for use by the remainder of the team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, with good organisational and communication skills together with demonstrable ability to analyse data and report on complex matters.
This will be a very busy and challenging role which will require the successful person to be hard-working and resilient and able to work well with all colleagues and external agencies. Consideration will be given to candidates who are working towards professional qualifications and can demonstrate relevant experience in a similar construction related support role.
