The Gynaecology Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary would like to invite candidates to apply for Consultant Gynaecologist post with colposcopy experience.
This post will include sessions in colposcopy clinic and theatre, cover the lead colposcopist role and provide training as required (total anticipated sessions within job plan 3 PAs). Colposcopy experience is essential and experience in vulval conditions is desirable.
The Unit is the designated tertiary referral unit for the North East of Scotland and provides a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services. The unit has responsibility for approximately 6000 deliveries and 9000 gynaecology admissions per annum.
Successful candidates will join a strong team of 23 consultant obstetricians, gynaecologists and academic staff.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register from date of interview.
Alternatively, applicants should possess a CESR / CESR (CP).
Essential qualifications for this post include MRCOG or equivalent.
