The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Sun 2 x 5hr shifts (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

This post is for Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Renal services, Band 2 Phlebotomist, part time.
An experienced phlebotomist is required to work with the renal team, mainly based at QEUH renal ward area but may also be required to cover renal outpatient clinics.
Your main duties will be collecting blood samples by venepuncture. You will be expected to work without direct supervision and exercise initiative when providing patient care, however a trained nurse will be available for advice and guidance. You should have phlebotomy experience and the ability to work with people and as part of team and demonstrate good communication skills, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and Patient Confidentiality
The post is 10 hours: worked as 2 x 5hour shifts Mon-Sun
