Acute Medicine CNM Advert
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager at the Western General Hospital for Acute or ‘Front Door’ Medicine.
This post covers a diverse and challenging area consisting of; -
- Acute Medical Unit, consisting of Receiving Trolley area and a 25 bedded admission area,
- Ward72 a 26 bedded medical Admission area,
- Minor Injuries Unit,
- Ward 54 a combined Cardiology & Respiratory ward with level 1 beds.
The Western General Hospital has over 600 beds and provides care to the people of North and West Edinburgh hosting a comprehensive range of general, specialist and regional services including The Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Urology and Colorectal Units, Regional Infectious Diseases Unit.
Acute Medicine has exciting opportunities developing within emergency access projects and the CNM would play a pivotal role in implementing new initiatives alongside the Directorate team and Senior Medical Colleagues.
