We are looking for a resourceful and experienced Healthcare Chaplain to join our Spiritual Care team to take forward the new National Framework: Discovering Meaning, Purpose and Hope through Person Centred Well Bing and Spiritual Care.
This post will be based at St John’s Hospital, you will join the team of chaplains serving the spiritual care needs of patients, carers, families, and staff. You will share responsibility for the delivery of Spiritual Care in hospital and community settings.
As a Healthcare Chaplain you will work as part of the NHS Lothian Spiritual Care team and may be required to work at sites across NHS Lothian. On-call work, out of hours, will be required by this post.
You will be educated to post-graduate level in a relevant subject and be working towards Post Graduate Qualification in Healthcare Chaplaincy, evidencing professional development and have a proven experience in delivering spiritual care.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
