We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in acute oncology on a fixed term or secondment basis as Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist. This is a 10 month 37.5 hour post based mainly within the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre but will also incorporate cover for our bone marrow transplant service based at Queen Elizabeth University hospital as required. Part-time or job-share enquiries may be considered.
You will take responsibility for a complex clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, treatment and discharge from care. You will work within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients. You will also be required to provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students.
