Full time post  -  Part time will also be considered 

Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced Physiotherapists who would welcome the opportunity to further develop their clinical knowledge and skills within the Acute Paediatric Service at Raigmore Hospital. The successful applicant will also participate in the emergency duty, on-call rotas and support Physiotherapy student practice education. 
  
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical expertise in the assessment and management of a range of clinical presentations relevant to acute paediatrics.  In the absence of specific paediatric experience, candidates should have relevant post-graduate experience across a broad range of specialities and preferably experience of working in an acute hospital setting. 
  
The post holder will assist senior Physiotherapy colleagues with the running of the acute paediatric service on a day to day basis and the professional development of rotational Band 5 physiotherapy staff, Physiotherapy support workers and students. They will also participate in peer review/KSF processes and assist with the effective day to day running of the Physiotherapy service in this area. 
 
This post may be considered as a training post (under Annexe 21) depending on experience.
