An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Children’s Nurse with experience and advanced nursing skills in care and management of children and young people with an Endocrine diagnosis.  

Based within the Paediatric Department at Raigmore Hospital, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the CYP through the care pathway from diagnosis, through treatment and discharge.

The post holder will also provide advice, support, and leadership in respect of all Endocrine issues, link nationally and guide Highland policy.

From a base at Raigmore Hospital, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the Endocrine Nursing service across Highland region. This will include; direct care, support and advice, and over the phone consultation and undertaking and leading on clinics.

You will be a motivated professional with extensive post registration experience with evidence of professional and service development. Extensive experience in working with CYP with Endocrine, have relevant and pertinent study and be a non-medical Nurse Prescriber as essential.

Driving Licence and access to own car for work purposes essential.
