The Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services teams provide a range of support, treatment and care to individuals with alcohol and/or drug dependence issues. As a Senior Addiction Nurse you will have responsibility for the nursing clinical leadership, line management of Band 5 nurses. You would be working as part of a large team dealing with complex clients with drug and alcohol problems and associated physical and mental health problems. You will be expected to work closely with children and families and criminal justice services among others. You should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. It is essential that you will have completed training as a First Level Registered Mental Nurse and have a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Experience of working in relevant settings post registration is essential. and Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. A track record of innovation and practice development is desirable.
