We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative and clerical support to the Physiotherapy Department based in the Out Patients building in Helensburgh.
The role will involve dealing with telephone enquiries, accepting referrals from patients and other professional staff, ordering equipment and other general administrative duties, in addition to general reception and administrative duties.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good customer service skills, polite telephone manner and be able to prioritise workload working as part of a team.
The ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential. You should have excellent keyboard, audio and IT skills as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Applicants must have 3 Standard Grades one of which must be English and be in possession of a typing qualification equivalent to ECDL/SVQ2
Previous experience of working within an office environment is essential.
Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not necessary.
Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided
Previous NHS experience desirable.
30 hour position worked over 5 days per week.
