An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced District Charge Nurse to work within the Edenvilla, Cupar community nursing service.
There is also the option for candidates without the specialist qualification to apply as a Senior Community Nurse or Trainee Senior Community Nurse (dependent on relevant training). Candidates who commence on band 5 will be required to successfully complete the appropriate qualification/s or training as outlined within the Annex 21 competency framework prior to progressing to band 6. Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see Terms and Conditions).
You will be a registered nurse with a relevant specialist practice qualification or a willingness to undergo specific training. Excellent leadership, communication skills and extensive clinical expertise and knowledge are essential.
Although this is a fixed term post for a year, those wishing to apply as a trainee, would be given the opportunity to apply for funded training in advanced clinical assessment to support their development towards this role for future opportunities.
You will be required to work within a 24 hour, 7 day community nursing service. An ability to travel across the locality is essential.
