Thank you for your interest in our Commodity Lead role within the procurement team of our Finance Directorate.  The Commodity Lead role is a key post, providing essential support across NHS Fife to ensure adherence to Public Procurement legislation, and implementation of sustainability and value through Local, Regional and National Contracts. 

You will have procurement experience in a public sector organisation, with a track record of obtaining and delivering savings. Will hold a professional CIPS qualification or equivalent relevant experience and be able to evidence continuous professional development. Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to manage and support the operational procurement team to deliver effective services across NHS Fife. The ability to work to tight deadlines both on your own initiative and whilst ensuring the timely and successful performance across the operational team is key. 

We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern arrangement from home and in the office.  Our office working is based in Hayfield House, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fife.
