To work within a multidisciplinary team (or equivalent) providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with mild to moderate psychological disorders. This will involve a mix of individual clinical work and involvement in the provision of group interventions.
To provide psychological therapies to adults with a wide range of mental health problems including anxiety and depressive disorders.
To manage own caseload within specialty area using specialist techniques and maintain clinical related records.
To work with clinical psychology colleagues, and other mental health professionals to provide a psychology service to patients.
To contribute to service delivery and to participate in service evaluation within the area as directed.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
