Lifestyle changing Opportunity in Rural Scottish Borders
NHS Borders are delighted to invite applicants to join our Adult community mental health service as a band 3 peer support worker. This is a fantastic career move and brings with it a lifestyle changing opportunity to work in the Scottish Borders and experience the benefits of rural life with very easy access to major cities such as Edinburgh (37 Miles) Glasgow (75 miles) and Newcastle (75 miles).
An exciting opportunity has arisen to add to our existing peer worker support staff.
The post will come with exciting learning opportunities and chance to contribute to peer working in the Scottish Borders.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can promote hope and recovery for our patient group. Ideally experience of working within a peer worker role is an advantage but lived experience is crucial. We are a close and inclusive community service with high standards for delivery of clinical services within the Scottish Borders. The post will mostly cover the Hawick area but not exclusively.
Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
