We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Infant Feeding Support Worker. The post will be based in the Mid Argyll area of Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership. The postholder will work under the supervision of the Infant feeding Co-ordinator (IFC) .
The hours of the post are 7.5 hrs per week.
Working in the community the role would appeal to individuals with a keen interest in breast feeding and health improvement .You will be expected to support pregnant women and breastfeeding women throughout the Mid Argyll area to promote and sustain breastfeeding, especially within the first 6 weeks following birth. You should have good communication skills ,an empathetic manner and the ability to work as part of a team.
