NHS Lothian Capital Planning and Projects is a department of project management and architectural specialist responsible for the design, development, procurement and implementation of capital and revenue funding projects across Lothian. We are seeking an exceptional Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our team in Edinburgh for a 12-month fixed term.
NHS Lothian offer a structured training programme with the opportunity to work under a Qualified Architect, along with a tailored training plan allowing you to experience a number of different areas within the organisation. Our managers are committed to developing every individual and helping them reach their potential.
Applicants will have a recently gained RIBA Part 1 accredited Degree in Architecture at grade 2:1 or higher.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
All applicants must demonstrate the following:
- A genuine interest in healthcare design and the construction industry
- Teamwork
- Commercial awareness
- Problem solving skills
- Time management
No previous work experience is required, however a portfolio demonstrating experience of coordinated building design is essential.
