The Role

  • To provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients.
  • To act as a source of expertise on nutritional therapy to patients, general public, other health care professionals including medical staff and GPs.

What we'll need you to bring

  • Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
  • Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology

It would be great if you also have

  • Member of British Dietetic Association
  • Evidence of working or clinical placement within an acute hospital setting.
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Knowledge of specialist dietetic interventions relevant to post.
  • ​​​​​​​Current driving License

This role will be based in the Nutrition and Dietetics department within University Hospital Monklands

The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 8:30 to 4:30
