Applications are invited for the following Cardiology Clinical Fellow vacancy at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital.
- 3x Clinical Fellow Cardiology – Intervention and Imaging / Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service (SNAHFS) – available from August 23 to August 24
The successful candidate will rotate between Intervention/ Imaging and SNAHFS during the year.
The successful applicant will be based within the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank. The hospital houses the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service, and the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit. The hospital is also the regional tertiary centre for cardiac surgery and complex electrophysiology for the West of Scotland and the largest volume PCI centre in the UK.
These Fellowships offer excellent opportunities for clinical experience in Coronary Intervention and Advanced Heart Failure (including cardiac transplantation and mechanical support). The post would be suitable for a range of applicants including Specialist Registrars or Trainees wanting Cardiology subspecialty experience. Applicants will be expected to hold MRCP (UK) or equivalent qualification, be registered with the GMC, and have relevant experience in General Medicine and Cardiology.
