An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to work as a member of the Infection Prevention and Control Team in the delivery of the planned programme for prevention and control of infection across NHS Fife.
You will provide specialist knowledge, guidance and training in all aspects of Infection Prevention and Control. You must be an Adult Registered Nurse, with current NMC Registration, be educated to degree level and possess an Infection Prevention and Control Nursing Qualification or currently working towards/be willing to work towards a post registration qualification in infection prevention and control.
A broad range of clinical experience is desirable. You will be required to travel between NHS Fife sites and Care Homes. One of the main qualities for this post is the ability to work as part of a team in a challenging health care setting. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. You should also be able to demonstrate continuing professional development and evidence of post registration qualification / study. This is a permanent full time post worked Monday to Friday with weekend/Public Holiday on-call responsibility
