An exciting vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in one of our Reception areas.  You will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients & visitors to the department

The successful candidate will provide a medical records function to the service as well as assisting Medical Secretaries with audio typing and administration tasks.  We would welcome your application if you have effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.  You should have a minimum of 4 standard Grades (one of which should be English) and be proficient in Microsoft Office.  If would be beneficial if you have previous knowledge and experience in medical records procedures, hospital information systems, Data Protection, GDRP, Freedom of information, Patient Confidentiality and audio typing.  We offer on the job training as well as a comprehensive induction, training package and appraisal.

You may be required to cover other GGC hospitals

Shift pattern; Mon-Fri 08:45-17:00
