Accountable to the Joint Director for the strategic leadership and operational delivery of Acute and Ongoing Services within East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership, ensuring safe delivery of patient care and services in accordance with NHS Lothian agreed corporate objectives. This includes focusing on delivery of scheduled care and working to established waiting times and treatment time goals, along with streamlining the patient journey through the establishment of the ICAT process and team.
Support the achievement of NHS Lothian targets and objectives by developing key relationships to enable collaborative working with internal and external partners, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care and then appropriate and timely discharge.
Contribute to the Senior Management Team within the Partnership providing leadership and visibility and supporting the planned and unplanned workflows associated with running a Community Hospital.
Deputise for the Joint Director as necessary, leading discussions and decision making at a Senior Management Level.
To ensure professional leadership is provided for all employees and that meeting professional standards is integral to the way of working in East Lothian HSCP.
