We are seeking a motivated, experienced paediatric nurse with proven leadership skills to take on the role of Senior Charge Nurse. This person will oversee the running of the surgical day case unit, out-patient department and associated outpatient hubs in the community.
You will need to be flexible, adaptable and able to make appropriate nursing decisions. Previous experience of managing staff is essential. The post will entail taking the senior nurse bleep as part of a hospital wide roster so the candidate must be able to work unsocial hours usually 1 or 2 weekend day shifts per month.
RACH have formally applied to the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Centre) to work towards Magnet designation by 2025. The post holder will be expected to positively embrace this programme and lead their team towards excellence.
The Day Case Unit is open Monday to Friday 07.30-18.00 and the Outpatient Department 0800-1700 Monday - Friday
