An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for recruitment of a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team which provides a three tiered model of service delivery including universal, targeted and specialist interventions to children and young people from birth to 18 years across Tayside. This post will be within the Angus team based at Whitehills health and community care centre, Forfar. All teams across Tayside work closely together to meet the needs of the children and young people.


These posts will offer the post holders the opportunity to work with children with a variety of difficulties and gain specialist skills in Child Health Occupational Therapy. You will be required to work in a variety of community settings including mainstream schools, specialist school settings, and out-patient clinics. The post holders will work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including education, other health professionals and social work.


We are looking for individuals who have good communication skills and are committed to multi disciplinary team working.  Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registered. The Occupational Therapy Service offers supervision, appraisal, regular in-service training and is committed to Continued Professional Development.​​​​​​​
