To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers, to join our friendly team within the Rosebank Ward at Caithness General Hospital, Wick.  We are a busy acute surgical and medical admission ward, with a three bedded enhanced level of care unit.  We aim to provide a high standard of care to our clients on a daily basis.

All acute medical, surgical and emergency department admissions are received through the acute referral pathway.  This is an exciting opportunity, at a time of continuing quality improvement and redesign.

You will be supported in completing a development and training programme to gain the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence based patient centred care.  You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.

These are full or part-time posts, fixed term until April 2024.  You will be working a rotational contract as required, and in accordance with service requirements. This is a career opportunity within the health service as permanent positions become available in the future.
