An exciting has arisen within the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) Directorate within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the Health and Care Staffing Team within the Corporate Nursing function for a 12 month period in the first instance.
This key professional role will involve working in collaboration with other Senior Nurses and Midwives to facilitate, monitor, and support the Nursing and Midwifery workforce planning processes for, by effectively supporting the application and usage of the nationally validated nursing and midwifery workload tools.
Support NHSGGC in meeting its obligations for the nursing and midwifery workforce as part of the proposed safe staffing legislation.
Work in partnership with Workforce Analytics, Professional Governance & Regulation Directorate and Service in the use of workforce information and associated outputs of the workload tools to identify NHSGGC Nursing and Midwifery workforce trends, strengths and risks through the planning process. You must be a registrant on the NMC Register and have secured your revalidation. It would be advantageous if the applicant has experience of the application of a workload tool within your current practice.
Hours of work are: 37.5 Hours, Monday to Friday and will be based at JB Russell House, Gartnavel Campus
