A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and revised MOU-2 agreed between Integration Authorities, SGPC, NHS Boards and the Scottish Government set out agreed principles of service redesign (including patient safety and person-centered care), as well as ring-fenced resources to enable the change to happen. The scope of the programme is to deliver all priorities defined in the General Medical Services Contract (2018) and associated MOU and MOU2. We are now at the exciting stage of developing and creating a Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) across Fife.

We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity which has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care (H&SC) Partnership for a Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse to work within the CTAC Service, within Treatment Rooms in the North East, and Central Fife areas – Monday to Fridays at present, relief positions also available.

Within this role you will provide care and treatment including wound management, long term condition screening, injections, and a range of evolving nursing tasks, ensuring clinical care and quality standards are met. The Treatment Room Nurse will provide safe, effective, person centred practice to meet the needs of people in Fife.

In applying for this role you will be an adult/general nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will have skills and experience to work within a primary care setting, to deliver high quality standards of care and be able to work as part of a multi-professional team.

You must have flexibility as may be required to cover other treatment rooms within Fife, excellent communication skills, be adaptable to change and evidence continuing personal development
