An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 dynamic and innovative individuals to work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) within Medicine of the Elderly, Community Care Services, these posts are based within Tarvit Ward Adamson Hospital, Glenrothes Hospitals and Cameron Hospital. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurse’s who will embrace the challenge of this exciting and rewarding role.
You should be a registered nurse, who, acting within your professional boundaries will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care for patients.
The ANP will have a responsibility to teach, supervise, assess and mentor, and to plan, prioritise and delegate work to other staff members. The ANP will work across all four Pillars of Practice, developing and maintaining professional and organisational relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
ANPs must possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice and have demonstrable evidence of clinical competence.
