Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to;
GMC credential in Rural and Remote Health (Unscheduled and Urgent Care)
Sole administrator support to the APGDs and the Project Officer;
Minuting all meetings including that of the R&R Credential Board;
Administering the application process for the credential applicants;
Data management; provide administrative support to the e-portfolio system for Credential learners
Dealing with all routine enquiries through the R&R mailbox;
Provide high level of pro-active administrative support to senior management team, to answer queries in their absence, assist them in their advisory roles;
Assist with the development and regular review of the policies, procedures and practices operating within the Directorate;
Project management support, where applicable;
Planning and organising a variety of tasks, including the involvement in multiple projects and programmes of work and the contribution to the definition of project scope and setting of achievable project objectives;
Liaison with the NES Technology Enhanced Learning and Turas Learn teams around the development and design of the resource.
Contribution to the definition of project scope and setting of achievable project objectives
Ensuring project management processes are adopted and where appropriate proposing changes in working practices;
Monitors and reviews financial information for the department to ensure that they are consistent with guidelines and to make recommendations for efficiencies and service redesign as an ongoing job responsibility;
Coordinate and contribute to the production of risk registers, operational plans, reports, communications, minutes, course evaluations, promotional materials and statistics.
Provide administrative support for online and face to face educational events as required.
