A career opportunity has arisen for a suitable experienced Social Care Worker at Grant house Care home for older adults. It is 19 bedded residential home in the town of Grantown on Spey in Highlands.

If you a caring, compassionate and reliable person who is interested in supporting people older adults with complex needs, then this is an extremely rewarding role for you.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work both on their own and as team leader. You will adapt a person centred approach to deliver a high standard of care to residents within the care home.

You will provide support and assist residents using the re-enablement approach that includes maximising and maintains their independence. The post holder will be responsible for leading the shift, administration of medication and to support and guide other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. You should have knowledge and experience of care planning and risk assessing in relation to older adults. Previous experience in a social care and minimum of SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve SVQ 3 health and social care.
