An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Addiction Support Worker to join Addiction Services on a permanent basis.

Addiction Services provide specialist treatment for people with drug and/or alcohol problems across  Fife and are delivered from three main localities – Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Cameron Hospital and Lynebank Hospital – providing treatment to the Fife-wide population – Central Fife (population of 147,370); North East Fife (population of 74,180); and, West Fife (population of 126,840).

As an Addiction Support Worker, you will work as part of a multi-professional team and provide support to the clinical work of Addiction Services. 

You will possess SVQII or equivalent experience, a level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform the role safely and effectively and have developed interpersonal and good written documentation skills. 

You will be expected to work Monday to Friday but with occasional flexibility expected in line with service needs.
