An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time healthcare assistant to join our team to work within the above area. We are a busy 16 bedded medical ward that receives patient from the Acute Medical and Ambulatory Unit.
We take patients with a variety of different medical conditions that require a short stay admission.
This is a chance to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge in a busy and fast paced environment. You should be energetic, capable, flexible, motivated and interested in people and be able to deliver person centred care. Evidence of delivering high quality compassionate care is essential. Previous hospital experience is desirable, and you will contribute towards ensuring high levels of patient comfort as well as maintaining the upkeep of the health and safety of the unit.
You will be required to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards For Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Once Band 3 competencies achieved the successful candidate will be moved to Band 3 pay scale.

Hours of work are: 37.5 per week day/night rotation - 12 hour shift pattern. Part time hours considered for right candidate.
