The postholder will work as part of the Lochaber Cancer and Palliative Care Team providing specialist care across community, acute, in-patient, and out-patient settings. The post holder will be responsible for providing high levels of clinical decision-making skills, monitoring and improving standards of cancer/palliative care through supervised practice, clinical audit, best practice evidence/research implementation, facilitating learning and supporting professional colleagues to provide informed cancer care.
They will contribute to developing a sustainable community-based cancer service which will meet the needs of people living after a diagnosis of cancer through a variety of initiatives.
