Bank Receptionist / Administrator
Monday - Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm
An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our busy GP Practice as bank receptionist / administrator. The ideal candidate will be offered shifts within our opening house to cover holidays and other absences when available.
The successful candidate will be first point of contact at reception so must have excellent communication skills with a confident, courteous and friendly manner. Candidates ideally will have previous NHS / Healthcare experience and a good knowledge of medical terminology; however this is not essential as full training will be given.
Duties will include answering and dealing with patient requests both face to face and on the telephone, booking appointments, processing prescriptions, issuing test results to patients, filing, general reception work, supporting the admin team.
Shifts of work will be offered within GP opening hours, Monday – Friday 08.00 – 18.00, to cover holidays and other absences when available. .
