We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Physiotherapist to join our team in NHS Borders. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of this new post and service. 

The role: You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team which includes Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Healthcare Support worker and Respiratory Specialist Nurses in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) and Respiratory teams,based in a variety of community and hospital settings. Experience of working with patients with chronic respiratory conditions or breathlessness is advantageous to the role.

Your work will be varied and will include working both independently and as part of a team. You will hold your own caseload where you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service. In addition to this you will be involved in delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation in a group and, less often, on a one-to-one basis.
