What you will do:
To assist in the provision of a comprehensive multi-site installation, maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service and to maximise the efficiency and quality of the mechanical, electrical and environmental services of NHS Ayrshire & Arran using resources available

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Your are required to be proficient in, have knowledge of, or undertake training in the following:-
- Recognised apprenticeship
- Qualified to Higher Nation Certificate or equivalent level with extensive experience
- The Electrical Safety Code for Low Voltage Systems for Competent Persons
- City and Guilds Qualification in the IEE 17th Edition Electrical Regulations
- City and Guilds Qualification in HTM 2010 Large porous load sterilizers
- City and Guilds Qualification in HTM 2030 Testing of Endoscope washer disinfectors
- Certified specialist training in Visonik, Desigo and Apogee Building Management Systems computerised control system
- Trained in SHTM06 Low Voltage Systems
- Trained in Telephone and Data systems programming and repair
- COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
- Mathematical calculations in respect of electrical systems and processes
- Confined Spaces training
- Fire Safety/Training
- Health & Safety Regulations/training
- Reading and interpretation of plans
- Lifting and Handling, use of lifting equipment, chain blocks and slings

Hours:
37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
8.00am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 1.30pm Friday
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
Car licence is essential to this role.
