Applications from 2023 Newly Qualified Nurse/Midwife, will not be considered for this post. 

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong interest in working with individuals with complex mental health needs in a community setting. You will be responsible for managing your own community caseload under the direct supervision from a Community Charge Nurse or Nurse Team Leader. You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of care delivery and the provision of direct delivery of care via mediums of one to one sessions, treatment clinics and Resource Centre Duty.  You will provide skilled nursing support and effective care planning, implementation and evaluation of agreed interventions under the supervision of a band 6 nurse. It is essential you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills with experience working in a mental health setting.  A current driving license is required for this post. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC registration will be required prior to start date. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
