An opportunity has arisen to join the Managed Service Network for Children and Young People with Cancer (MSN CYPC) as our National Network Manager. The MSN was established in 2011 to ensure a single sustainable model of service delivery for children, teenagers and young people with cancer. The network provides support to all relevant clinicians operating across Scotland to work collectively in accordance with national guidelines and standards.
The Cancer Strategy for children and young people in Scotland 2021-26 (Collaborative and Compassionate Cancer Care) is our ambitious strategy which will drive forward improvements for better outcomes for children and young people with cancer in Scotland. As a key step in enhancing the leadership of the strategy’s implementation, the MSN CYPC is seeking to appoint a National Network Manager to facilitate, plan and support strategic national service change and redesign to deliver the objectives of the new children and young people’s cancer strategy. The work is exciting, innovative and complex.
